Our History

The Royal Air Force's Association President's Band was developed from the Hillingdon Community Concert Band, which was formed in January 1992 as a joint initiative between RAF Uxbridge and Hillingdon Music Services.
It was formally re-named The Royal Air Forces Association President's Band, at an inaugural concert held at Uxbridge on Friday 17th August 2001 in the presence of Air Chief Marshall Sir Michael Stear KCB, CBS, DL, MA, FRAeS.

In April 2010, the Band moved from RAF Uxbridge to new rehearsal facilities at RAF Northolt.
